A huge thank you for all your hard work yesterday at the BBC Philharmonic's Family Concert. It was a really terrific concert that was enjoyed by the almost capacity Bridgewater Hall audience. You all worked so hard to make it such a success, for which I am very grateful.

We've already had some lovely feedback from the public and indeed members of the Salford Family Orchestra, who had 'the best time' it seems. None of this would have been possible without your co-operation, goodwill and patience Thanks Again.

A huge thank you to you all for making the Wonder project such a success last week. Your amazing enthusiasm, energy, creativity and hard work was truly remarkable. It has given me great personal pleasure to work with your team on this complex and often demanding project, but the audio/visual installation and the three performances made it all worthwhile. From the feedback we have already received, I know this project reached and inspired a lot of people who might otherwise not have known about the International Year of Astronomy and the 40th anniversary of the Moon Landings and indeed the 200th anniversary of Haydn's death.
